Upper teeth removed, caused excessive drooling, need advice?

I recently had my upper teeth removed. I'm waiting for my dentures to be made. Meanwhile, when I sleep, I now have excessive drooling. Is this normal? Will it stop once I get my new dentures & wear them to bed?
