Based on this excerpt, how old do you think I am?
“We have been waiting for you Samuel” “Who are you?!” I ran forward and found myself in a maze of mirrors, a dark figure loomed on each with boney hands. A dark laughter, worse than Alexis’s or anyone’s on the face of this earth. I punched a mirror and one of the figure’s disappeared. I groped through the maze and found myself in a circus ring, posters covered the wall. My posters. I thought. They were yellowed and the corners were curling. I ran to the wall and ran my finger tips along the crisp paper. Angered, I ripped them down and they turned to dust in my hands. “You didn’t forget us.” “Yes I have!” I screamed, punching the crumbling wood. I saw a door appear and instantly ran through it. Greeting darkness in it’s wake. A small spotlight turned on and I saw a boy with his head turned away from me, a hooded cloak pulled over his head. He spun to face me, but I couldn’t see his face. I heard a sound from behind me and turned. A man clad in a black suit and top hat held a gun up to me. I stared blankly at him. It wouldn’t hurt me. He fired, but the bullet went right through me. When it did a small smoke engulfed me. The smoke got bigger and bigger, it smelled of tears and blood. I couldn’t see anymore and the smoke was overpowering. I pushed through the smoke and the room was dark again. I heard a dark laughter and a sound like a storm was brewing somewhere. Small flickers of light floated in. Like floating candles? The lights got brighter and I saw what it was. Black balloons with gnarled candles in them, attached to the bottom of the balloons, were bloody human faces. They floated around me, the bloody mouths moving, forming words. Whispering to me. It was untelligable, but I could only make out “Bloodied hands. Bloodied hands. ” The balloons popped and the candles went out. I stood there in the darkness for awhile until white hot lightning poured down on me, and I remembered it all.
