Anyone know how i can remove varnish from a upvc window frame?

A product called De-Solv-It will take it off. This is available at ACE Hardware. It is good for any oil-based products...Shoe polish, lip stick, paint, chewing gum and adhesives like from a bumper sticker, or tape residue. You might also use Finger nail polish remover.
