Steven Fowler's bad behavior on Wife Swap?

I did not get a chance to watch the episode of Wife Swap that had Steven Fowler, the British guy that behaved atrociously toward his substitute wife, Gayla, throughout the entire run of the episode. But I did watch the highlights and clips on Youtube. The thing I wanted to mention is that yeah, Fowlers behavior was atrocious, arrogant, meanspirited, and many other words but having said that, I think that there are many people who make comments like that about other people but they are aware enough not to do it in front of the person that they are badmouthing. Fowler was simply brazen enough to do it in front of poor Gayla and what made it worse is that she did not stand up for herself or say anything to combat some of his criticism of her. Because I have seen other episodes of Wife Swap and there have been other incidences of people treating each other condescendingly and being mean spirited and making fun of the guest in their home, but usually when that happened, both people would start arguing. And these incidences simply werent as viscious as what Fowler did. But people do gossip and make fun of other people behind their back and put other people down in the same way that Fowler did to Gayla. But once again, Fowler was simply brazen enough to do this in front of his target. So I want to know what others thought of this episode of Wife Swap?
